About Dr. Kimberly Glasgow

I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I lived there until I left for college in Rexburg, Idaho where I attended BYU-Idaho from 2001-2005 and then transferred to the undergraduate program at Logan College of Chiropractic back home in St. Louis, MO. I finished my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and continued on to the Chiropractic program. In school I was chosen as an intern in the Biofreeze Rehabilitation Center that focused on treating failed low back surgeries and athletes from middle school up to the college level. Following graduation from the Doctor of Chiropractic program, I continued my studies in Sports Science and Rehabilitation with an Internship in the BYU Sports Medicine department. While there I had the opportunity to work with the women’s gymnastics team and the football team. Following the internship I received my Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation.

Prior to working at The Health Spot, I worked in Provo, UT as a Chiropractor focusing on Sports Medicine and Pain management. I loved helping people out of pain and working with athletes, but I wanted to expand my knowledge. That is when I started working at Family First Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Murray, UT and developed skills in working with pregnant woman, infants, and children. I am also Webster Certified, which is the technique commonly sought after when working with pregnant woman.

Recently I have developed an even deeper love of Chiropractic after having my daughter. During the pregnancy Chiropractic care kept me moving and feeling great until I finally had my daughter 11 days past my due date. I was fortunate to have an incredible home birth that I know went so well due to my consistent adjustments during the pregnancy. The first couple months of nursing were extremely difficult and it was very tempting to give up due to pain. Thankfully whenever my daughter was adjusted she would not only nurse easier but she would sleep better, too!

Along with the chiropractic work, I am also trained in acupuncture. It has been wonderful to have this added knowledge and skill when helping patients reach their health goals.

I’ve seen everything from the baby that has reflux or can’t nurse, to the mom with a breech baby that needs to turn naturally, to the NFL athlete who got whiplash. I love being a chiropractor! I love helping patients regain their health and the health of their families!
